Nottinghamshire County Council has a specialist service called 'Adults with Asperger's Team.' This team is led by Chris Mitchell and started taking referrals in January 2009.

This service provides community care and carers assessments, advice and support with benefits, housing, employment and training and self help/ support groups. They do not diagnose adults within the county and have to refer out of county.
