Pupils enjoyed learning Caribbean songs and also played African instruments.
This year’s theme was ‘Proud To Be’ and was about celebrating who we are.
We learned that despite our colour, size, abilities or believes, we are all 'proud to be' and should share our achievements in a peaceful and friendly way.
We listened to traditional stories and learned about black sports icons, activist and other famous people.
Pupils made prints inspired by African fabric patterns. They enjoyed making jewelry and took part in African craft workshops.
"We are proud to be and to bring light to the world."
