About our branch
What we do
The Isle of Wight branch is a self-funded branch of the National Autistic Society and is run exclusively by volunteers who are the parents of autistic children and adults.
Our branch aims are to:
- Provide information and signposting
- Raise autism awareness locally
- Listen to and support all autistic individuals
- Invite service providers to engage with the branch, as well as explore and extend existing recreational, educational and work opportunities
- Create opportunities for autistic individuals and their families to meet like-minded people and to share their experiences
- Provide links to other support groups on the Isle of Wight.
The branch closed during the pandemic and is now looking to relaunch. If you are interested in volunteering with the Isle of Wight branch please email isleofwight.branch@nas.org.uk
