About our branch
Our branch launched in October 2008. It is run by volunteers who want to make a difference to autistic people and their families.
We hold regular recreational activities, such as bowling evenings and ice hockey trips. For more information, please visit our Branch events section. We also welcome new ideas for activities and events. These can be emailed to us.
Working together with South Yorkshire Police, we developed a free Autism Alert Card to both improve communication between autistic people and emergency services workers, the local authority and other key professionals, and to let the latter groups know more about the bearer’s needs or challenges.
As a volunteer-led group, we are always keen to welcome new volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with our branch then please email us.
