About our branch
Welcome to the South Lanarkshire Branch of the National Autistic Society.
The South Lanarkshire Branch was formed in 2009.
Our Branch is run by a committee of volunteers made up of autistic adults, parents of autistic children and people interested in autism.
Whilst we are part of the National Autistic Society, we don't receive financial support, so need to fundraise ourselves to cover our running costs and expenses. We are always looking for local sponsorship and fundraising opportunities.
The main aim of our branch is to support and create opportunities for autistic people and their families in the South Lanarkshire region and to raise autism awareness.
We run a support group for autistic adults and an arts & craft group for all autistic individuals, regardless of age (details can be found on our events page).

Volunteer with us
The branch is run by a small group of volunteers who give their time and energy to support autistic people and their parents/carers. Without the help and support of our volunteers we would not be able to deliver our activities.
