Balfour Beatty

In February 2024, our students were offered an exciting opportunity from Balfour Beatty. Balfour Beatty are contractors for the National Rail Service, and are responsible for looking after the trains and repair of the lines on the High-Speed Rail link. Balfour ran an art competition for a piece of artwork to be reproduced on one of their service wagons. This wagon will travel up and down the rail way lines and be visible to all. It will also be shown on one of the panels with the schools logo and artist's name. As part of this exciting opportunity we were able to take some students to visit their depot so that they could get inspired and gain a better insight into the project.
