Imperial War Museum

In 2023, the Imperial War Museum hosted a couple of relevant Media exhibits – Ukraine: Photos from the Frontline and War Games – the first acted as a gallery for photographs of the unfolding conflict in Ukraine, detailing both civilian and military matters, whilst the latter chronicled how video gaming has been used to represent the realities of war to an international audience. Our students engaged well with the subject matter, particularly the Ukraine exhibit which encouraged some wide-ranging discussions and responses that some of our pupils had not previously considered could be linked to their photography study.
