Design & Technology Week 2023

The theme for this year’s whole school engagement was The Seaside. All students were asked to respond to the theme by thinking about what the Seaside meant to them. Students had an opportunity to go on a field trip to explore the theme with some visiting Chatham Dockyard or the seaside. Many of the students thought about pollution and this was reflected in many of the sculptures produced. Some students studies the beauty of seaweed and learnt about the History of the Deck Chair. An exhibition was put on in the Summer to showcase how each class and student had approached the theme.
