Our school celebrated World Book Day in style on Thursday 5 March!
From beginning, middle to end, the day was filled with fun activities, twists and surprises. Both staff and students took a leaf out of their favourite books and came dressed as literary characters. Take a look at some of our favourite costumes here.
On Wednesday evening members of staff did an incredible job decorating each classroom door as different book cover - demonstrating that reading really can open doors to different worlds! You can admire their handiwork here.
Throughout the day, we enjoyed plenty of literary activities, including book swaps, a visit to the library, a parade in the school hall, and food for thought in the form of a book-themed meal.
We hope everyone involved had a great time, and we can’t wait to celebrate again next year.
