Acceptance and awareness
Our purpose at the National Autistic Society is to help create a society that works for autistic people. One of the ways we work towards this is through public events and campaigns to promote autism awareness and acceptance.
World Autism Acceptance Month – April 2025
We are excited to announce that next April, World Autism Acceptance Week will become World Autism Acceptance Month!
Soon we’ll be sharing ideas and opportunities for you to take part at home, at work, or in school. Our popular fundraising challenge will be returning, and we’ll be asking people to get involved with friends, family, or on their own and walk 5k in April.
There will be also be information, campaigns and a range of resources to share, to help increase understanding and awareness of autism. Register your interest now, and join us for a month of activities in April 2025 to help us create a society that works for autistic people.
