Holly E. A. Sutherland

Holly E. A. Sutherland is an autistic academic and autism researcher. She is currently a Research Associate in the Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics Department at the University of Cambridge, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge. Her PhD research at the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, University of Edinburgh, studied autistic social communication using autistic perspectives and neurodiversity frameworks. Her research interests include cross-neurotype communication, the double empathy problem, and neurodiversity approaches in high support needs contexts.
