Celebrate and donate
Whether it’s your birthday, anniversary, or you're getting married, asking for donations to the National Autistic Society instead of gifts is a great way to fundraise. It’s super easy and will help autistic people and their families.
Join Team AutismWhether you want to offer pin badges as wedding favours, ask for a birthday donation instead of a gift or set up an online giving page in celebration of a milestone anniversary, we are honoured to be included in your special day.
Top tips for getting started
1. Set up an online giving page
It's easy to set up an online giving page and share with friends and family to donate to your celebration. This also allows guests who can't celebrate with you in person to support a cause you care about.
2. Share your story
It’s likely most people will understand your connection to our charity but do share your story, if you can, for those who might like to know more and want to donate.
3. Donations on the day
If you’re having a celebration in person, collection boxes and banners are available in our online shop . This will show everyone who you are supporting and encourage donations.
4. Thank your amazing donors
This will show your gratitude and inspire others to donate, too. If you approach or pass your initial fundraising target, you can always increase it. This will encourage even more donations.
Top tip: give a little memento
A pin badge could be a small favour to your guests and a way to spread awareness too. These are available from our online shop.
Top tip: themed quiz
You could hold a quiz all about the year you were married, met or were born, depending on the occasion. Ask for a donation to enter and split the total pot as a prize for the winner and a donation to us.

Pay in your funds
