Keri Fisher

As a mother of four children, Keri’s passion for positive psychology and the Low Arousal Approach is not just professional, but deeply personal. Practicing in a way that promotes proactive support –rather than solely relying on reactive planning – aligns with her ethos of creating calm, compassionate and effective ways to reduce stress and support overall wellbeing. Less stress, more connection.
With over 14 years’ experience in both adult and children’s services in Northern Ireland, Keri brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Before joining Studio 3, she worked as a service manager for an organisation supporting autistic adults, individuals with intellectual disabilities and those with acquired brain injury.
She continues her journey as Lead Trainer in low arousal approaches to support families, their loved ones and organisations that strive to create safe, calm and happy environments. She highlights the need for co-regulation rather than confrontation when supporting children or those she supports in overwhelm, distress or expressing big emotions. With a focus on reducing stress and creating safety for both the child and the adult, this approach is especially helpful for individuals who may process the world differently and experience heightened stress responses. It honours unique ways of being, promotes emotional safety and supports trusting, connected relationships – creating space for regulation, not escalation.
