The Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment and Diagnosis Service uses the latest diagnostic and assessment tools for individuals who have the signs and symptoms of ASD. A highly qualified team of Consultant Psychiatrists will use a number of tools to comprehensively assess individuals during two, 90 minute sessions. Where appropriate, they can also offer a further assessment by one of their Psychologists in complex cases. Following assessment, referrers will receive a full report confirming diagnosis along with recommendations for further support. Referrals are accepted for individuals aged 16 years and older. Funding must be agreed by the relevant Clinical Commissioning Group before any work is undertaken.
