Jamats Activity Centre provides a fun, relaxed and friendly environment for adults aged 16+ with special needs. Our friendly and unique atmosphere allows the opportunity for all to take part in a variety of Life skill, learning, creative and social activities. Jamats aims for everyone to achieve something however big or small and prides itself on creating an environment that is suited to the specific needs of the user. The user will guide us to what they require from the activity centre and will find a group that will fit their capabilities, needs and wants. Due to very popular demand we also provide places for post 16 and college students throughout the year to come and join in with our activities during their half term holidays and unallocated days. The transition from school/college to the adult world can be an incredibly daunting one and so the opportunity to get involved in and familiarise with what the future may hold is something we believe to be highly beneficial to the user and their families.
