Main information

Type of service: Further & Higher Education

Students can tick a box on the enrolment form which will automatically refer them to the Learning Support Team. A pre-screener would be sent and then an appointment made for a transition/support interview. Students can self refer at anytime in the academic year or can be referred by any member of staff. We are able to offer 1:1 support with a specialist tutor, assessments for exam concessions, transition planning, on course support, signers, hearing loops and intimate care. This list is not exhaustive as we assess all students and work with them and their parent/carers to ensure all aspects of their needs are met whenever possible.
