'I enjoy being a volunteer for the National Autistic Society because it’s fun. It makes me feel happy as I’m helping people, as well as supporting my fellow autistic peers within the community. I enjoy organising new activities for the branch and liaising with the committee, which makes me feel good because I am making a difference. It allows me to meet new people, at places like autism fayres, as well as being more connected and helping me to improve my confidence by doing talks about autism to groups. I also get to know National Autistic Society staff and feel valued.'
