Dragons RFC x National Autistic Society limited edition rugby shirt
Published on 19 March 2024
We are delighted to announce a partnership with Dragons RFC in the run up to our biggest event of the year, World Autism Acceptance Week (Tuesday 2 April - Monday 8 April 2024).
A new limited edition colourful kit will generate vital funds for our charity, with £10 from every shirt sold going directly to support the work we do for autistic people and their families.
The Men of Gwent will wear the eye-catching new strip at the BKT United Rugby Championship match with the South African giants - Vodacom Bulls - at Rodney Parade on Saturday 23 March.
Hayley Parker, Interim Head of Fundraising and Supporter Relations at the National Autistic Society, said: 'We are thrilled to have worked with Dragons RFC on this unique kit, to increase understanding of autism.
'There are more than 700,000 autistic people in the UK, and events like this raise awareness and vital funds to help support our charity's mission to create a society that works for all autistic people.'
Graeme Bradbury, Interim CEO at Dragons RFC, added: 'We are absolutely delighted to reveal this year’s charity kit and show our support for the wonderful work of the National Autistic Society.
'The BKT United Rugby Championship game with Vodacom Bulls gives us a great platform to highlight the incredible work of the charity and I’m sure our supporters will also get right behind this initiative and purchase another striking VX3 kit that will generate vital funding for the National Autistic Society.'
The Dragons RFC x National Autistic Society kit is available in adult and children’s sizes, and can be purchased here. All first team jerseys worn against Vodacom Bulls will also be auctioned off after the game online.
