Lancashire Centre
Set in the beautiful Whalley Abbey grounds, Lancashire Centre is also home to Café Autisan. The centre offers autistic individuals opportunities to meet new people and interact with peers in a local hub. It gives people opportunity to learn new skills and put them into practice on a regular basis.
Service facilities
Open Monday to Friday currently, the Centre can provide a variety of different sessions both in the Centre itself and in the local community, using our Centre vehicle. Striving to create a local hub for the autistic community where they can interact on their terms, we are able to support people to set clear targets in the sessions they choose whilst giving them an opportunity for valuable social interaction (and fun!). We can offer support for up to six hours a day but we also operate a breakfast club. Our experienced staff team who also work across our outreach service and Cafe Autisan, also have a wealth of talents and host sensory sessions with dance and movement, art and music sessions, language skills and baking classes. The Centre is located on the first floor above Cafe Autisan. We do not have facilities to provide personal care at present.
