Main information
Service categories: Extra-curricular and leisure activities, Information, advice and advocacy, Support groups, social programs and branches
The A Team Social group has about 450 diverse members. It is an adult social group for those who would previously have been diagnosed with Aspergers, run by the voluntary group SAPAG. We run a wide range of social activities both face to face and online. We send out a weekly newsletter to members. This includes information about activities we are running, local information and advice for autistic adults, and other things of interest in the area. We also maintain a closed and moderated Facebook Group. Members run some activities which we encourage. Members also contribute to some wider activities for professionals in the area to raise understanding and acceptance.
