Adoption Counselling UK

Main information

Life can be challenging at times, and relationships complicated. Counselling is a space where you can explore without judgement, and with someone accepting of diversity and difference in how we experience the world and each other. Having a regular time each week helps to settle into the process and provides consistency, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you and learn together the best ways for you to access therapy, using the language and tools which feel helpful. I will not make assumptions about your hopes and goals and instead I will listen and together we can plan how counselling and therapy can help you reach them.

Counselling differs from other professions such as a life coach, in that it is not advice giving. However I can support you to make practical changes you wish for if that is your hope. Please contact me if have any questions or if you are unsure if counselling may be helpful for you. You do not need to have a diagnosis, or for this to be the focus for us to work together.
