Asperger’s Support Group – Little Grove CIC
Main information
Type of service: Social skills
A new Group for young people aged between 16-24 who have a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome, Autism without a learning disability, or high-functioning Autism. The group is a run on a pre-booked basis, so please get in touch for more details.
The group will include Social Skills support and Art Therapy techniques to help people gain new skills and meet others in a similar situation.
We will meet one evening a month, in the Watford area. Initially we will run on a trial basis, free of charge. However, we are hoping that if it goes well, it will then continue next year.
It is being run by a small group of volunteers who themselves are young people with Autism & who were previously members of a social support group that our organisation has run for the last 10 years. They will be supported of a trained Facilitator & an Art Therapist.
Please get in touch if you want more information on who we are and what we're doing.
