We offer a diagnostic assessment package for adolescents and adults. The assessment usually includes initial screening via telephone/online and through completion of screening measures, a direct behavioural observation and a detailed face to face interview. The diagnostic assessment will usually rely primarily on two measures generally considered to be the ‘gold standard’ for ASD diagnostic, both of which have been evaluated positively by NICE. The Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) and The Autism Diagnostic and Observation Schedule – 2nd Edition (AD05-2). 2-3 weeks after the assessment a detailed report and feedback are provided. This provides information on the diagnosis, a summary of the developmental history, a detailed description of their current presentation in each of the main ASD areas, together with post diagnostic advice such as resources, signposting to relevant local support services and recommendations for support.
