With over 25 years’ experience as a Mum of an autistic son, I have asked the same questions as you, one of which is ‘am I doing all I can’? Diagnosed aged 2 and now 27 my son is now speaking and living independently. I’ve worked at NAS and Scottish Autism and have an autism degree, and deliver training that provides Parents, Carers, Staff teams, Volunteers with real actionable strategies you can put in place immediately. You will leave knowing how to create the right sensory environment, better support communication and you will be confident to handle difficult times and situations.
You and I can have one to one sessions or you can bring the whole team or family. ‘I really feel what I’ve learned today is going to improve my relationship with my grandson’. ‘The section about sensory needs really hit home with the team, the service has been transformed’. Please have a look at my website and drop me an email for more information. info@gaynorcaldwellautim.com
