School for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties based in a small town in Norfolk. Buildings are restricted and not purpose built. Staff are specially trained in the effective use of a variety of communication tools. All pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) (22%) are taught with their peers in small class groups. Due to lack of space it is not possible to extend to provide a special ASD unit, although staff are very keen and skilled to further develop this area. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. Another intervention, approach and programme offered by the school is a total communication approach.
