Derbyshire Information, Advice and Support Service for SEND (formerly Derbyshire Parent Partnership Service) is an information, advice and support service covering area of Derbyshire. The service supports parents and carers of children and young people (0-25 years) with special needs or disabilities and also those whose children are at risk or who have been excluded from schools. The service works closely with statutory and voluntary organisations. Parent Partnership is a national organisation present in all Local Authority areas. The service has a series of leaflets on the special educational needs (SEN) and disability systems. All services and publications are free of charge. We also have a helpline which operates Monday-Friday 9.30am-3pm. Messages can be left outside these times.
