Elm House

Main information

Type of service: Day services, Residential services

Elm House is a 12-bedded house, split into 2 units. One side 6 Supported Living rooms to and the other a 6 bedded residential care home. Elm House is situated in Eynesbury, St Neots and is a short distance from the town centre. This is a specialist unit for adults with Asperger syndrome and high functioning autism, with 24-hour staffing support. It is within easy walking distance of St Neots which has various amenities including a bowling alley, museum, local parks, local shops and pubs. Each resident living at Elm House has a Care Plan programme which identifies their needs and capabilities allowing staff to encourage and support the service users to work towards gaining new skills and prompting independence. Elm House provides a pathway into Supported Living for existing residents. It allows residents to stay in the same environment but still progress onto a supported living placement. We provide robust care pathways enabling individuals living with Autism, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities a variety of routes to independent living. From our Therapeutic Campus to Residential Care and Supported Living we specialise in providing the right type of care at the right time in a person's life. We also provide Respite Support services, to allow short breaks for full time carers or a 'between placement' service. For more information view our website: www.brookdalecare.co.uk/index.php.
