At Moore House Campus, Dunkeld we aim to provide sector leading provision for neuro-diverse children and young people (5 - 18), who require highly specialised teaching, bespoke pastoral care and a range of dedicated services, including Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychological Intervention. Our children and young people have not been able to sustain mainstream school placements but our small class sizes, individualised and bespoke curriculum pathways mean they attain and achieve their potential and aspirations at Moore House Campus, Dunkeld.
Our campus is located in a calm, rural environment near Dunkeld, we provide specialist:
• Day education Primary and Secondary,
• Residential care & education,
• Virtual learning through our Virtual Academy,
• Outreach education,
• Therapeutic support.
‘The school’s nurturing ethos supports all children and young people to feel safe and cared for. All staff have high aspirations for each learner and are focused on ensuring that all learners achieve positive outcomes.’ (Education Scotland March 2022)'.
The schools are now part of The Jane Moore Trust which has charitable status. This development further augments the very good progress the schools have made in enhancing curriculum and learning experiences in that it will enable the campus to capitalise on funding and expertise to further enhance the development of the 4 capacities for all children and young people equipping them to move on to positive post school destinations. The campus has also established a clearer definition of its cohort - children and young people with neuro-divergent needs aged 5 - 18 years.
