Neurodevelopment Assessment Service (NDAS) is an assessment and diagnostic service for children and young people which is aligned to the National Neurodevelopmental Service Specification which was published in 2021. The service is open access meaning where a young person, their family or someone who supports them identifies indicators that may suggest a neurodiverse profile a request for assessment can be made.
The young person and their family will meet members of the multidisciplinary team who will work with them to better understand the young person’s profile and provide diagnosis where this is appropriate. The timescales for assessment for each individual will vary depending on the complexity and number of appointments required.
Ages: 0 to 18 (not 3 to 18 as stated below)
