The Outreach and training team at Abbey Hill consists of specialist teachers with SEND training and experience, who offer pupil specific advice and support to teachers, parents and carers in settings working with children and young people up to age 19.

We are able to offer support and advice for pupils without EHCP's. We also initial Understanding Autism training in addition to more in-depth training packages covering more specific support strategies, including using structured teaching and supporting sensory needs and supporting challenging behaviour. We are able to offer one to one or small group work with children and pupil centred specific advice and recommendations, following observations.
