Dr Astrid van Wilsem, senior Specialist Clinical Psychologist and Tania Richards, Speech and Language Therapist are the founders of Clinical Autism Diagnostic Service (CADS). Together they have close to 50 years of experience in working with people with autism and their families. Dr Astrid van Wilsem is trained in conducting the ADI, ADOS, ACIA (Autism Clinical Interview for Adults). She also conducts the DIVA and Young DIVA (ADHD). Tania Richards is trained in conducting the ADOS and the ACIA. We offer full online autism and ADHD assessments but encourage clients to visit Tania in her clinic in Clipston, Northamptonshire for a face-to-face ADOS/ADHD observation if possible. The ADI, ACIA and (Y)DIVA are all conducted online. We assess adults, young adults, adolescents and children from age 2 onwards, depending on language ability. Our ADHD assessments include adults, adolescents and children from age 5 onwards. We send out a school questionnaire if applicable. Our Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings for under 18's consist of 3 disciplines.
