We are a small privately-run specialist school for specific learning difficulties (including Asperger syndrome/high functioning autism). The school has an Outstanding Ofsted accreditation and has been successful in providing a holistic and individual approach to its pupils over the 20 years as an educational establishment. Dr Sionah Lannen and Mr Colin Lannen co-founded the school combining their skills in Educational Psychology and Management. Dr Gavin Reid, is a co-director. The school offers very small class sizes, high teacher to pupil ratio and Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH) workstation in all classrooms. It is an approved section 41 school. Pupils are placed by local authority through their Statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN)/Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), or privately funded. Other disabilities and conditions catered for are specific learning difficulties (dyscalculia, speech & language difficulties and social or emotional difficulties ie 'Delicate' children).
