Sleep and Therapy Services CIC

Main information

Type of service: Interventions and therapies

A company based on 30 years of knowledge and experience, specialising in supporting autistic children and young people. Sleep and Therapy Services was founded by Chris Hoyle, a Speech and Language Therapist, who has worked with autistic children since 1990. Chris trained as a sleep practitioner in 2005 and established the first autism sleep clinic in 2007. Chris’ passion to help families resolve sleep issues inspired her to complete an MA in Autistic Spectrum Conditions (distinction; 2011), completing postgraduate research in autism and sleep. In 2016 she developed the autism sleep clinic around the North West and coordinated an NHS commissioned sleep service, shortlisted for National Autistic Society awards 2018 and 2019; a further NHS commissioned sleep service followed in 2018. In 2021 Chris established Sleep and Therapy Services CIC to continue supporting children with sleep and communication difficulties. The company offers appointments by video conferencing, enabling families from across the country to access this specialist support. Following a detailed assessment of their sleep problems we provide an individual sleep plan and personalised resources tailored to their individual needs. Specialist Individual Sleep plan £390.
