Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies, Diagnosticians, Schools and education providers, Support groups, social programs and branches

Assessment Process:

Our assessment process is carried out by our multidisciplinary team in 2 stages. Stage 1 is our screening stage which requires completion of several standardised questionnaires followed by a 1-hour interview with either a Clinical Psychologist or a Speech and Language Therapist. This stage means that individuals do not have to commit to a full assessment if this is not indicated by preliminary evidence. We will give you our clinical opinion at the end of Part 1 whether early information is suggestive of neurodivergence. You may then choose whether to proceed to Part 2 - full assessment but you are not obliged to do so if the advice given in Part 1 feels validating enough.

Stage 2 will include a developmental history, a ADOS assessment for autism and/or a QB check for assessment of adhd. we also ensure that we either complete a school visit for observation, or book in a call to school/college to complete information we are missing.

Any fees provided in stage 1 will be deducted off the bill when the family/adult progress with stage 2.
