Thame Music Therapy

Thame

Main information

Thame Music Therapy is a community-focused therapy practice, with particular expertise in working with autistic people. Through our three core services of Music Therapy, Specialist Music Lessons and Inclusive Workshops, we aim to enhance the existing network of inclusive support for children, young people and adults in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

We take referrals directly from individuals and families, as well as from schools, medical practitioners, care homes and local authorities. The practice is run by Hugh Anderson, an HCPC-certified music therapist, BAMT-approved clinical supervisor and ABRSM-registered music teacher. Hugh was Head of Therapies at specialist-autism charity 'Resources for Autism' from 2020-2023.
