We provide a range of very practical services for families affected by autism. You do not need to have a confirmed diagnosis of ASD to access services at TTHT. At The Toby Henderson Trust, we offer a specialist Autism Family Support Service for families to access support, information, resources and strategies. Along with this, we have a private multi-disciplinary assessment and diagnostic service for young people and adults. We also have our STAR sensory profiling service. We have our monthly social groups for young people which are our MATES Groups (Meet At Toby's And Engage Socially) where we have Mini Mates, Mates Juniors and Mates Seniors, depending on the young person's age. We also offer monthly Siblings Superstars sessions. We also run a range of Webinars and Support Groups for parents and families to access, on a range of topics such as; sleep support; toileting issues; using visual aids; parent emotional wellbeing; sensory issues and many more. Approaches and tools used: All assessments are multi disciplinary involving: Psychologist, 2 x ASD Nurse Consultants (ADOS trained), 2 x Occupational Therapists (incl. 1 sensory specialist), SaLT and Behavioural Therapist and a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Our pathway is : Complete Neurodevelopmental History, School Observation / Education Discussion, Play Bases Assessment / Observation, ADOS 2 & Multi Disciplinary Team Meeting (elements of the above undertaken as needed)
