Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

Main information

Do you think you might be autistic or have already had a confirmed diagnosis? Are you now wondering what autism means to you? Perhaps your feelings escape you. It's a challenge to distinguish, name and manage them. People seem to misunderstand you often. Have you been an outsider for as long as you can remember? Never quite fitting in? Maybe it's time to make peace with your differences. Realising that things could be better is the first step towards positive change. I am an autistic counsellor supporting autistic adults with navigating life.

I help you to:

-discover your genuine self
-manage emotions
-negotiate fulfilling relationships
-thrive at work

My approach to therapy is centred on encouraging the clients to regain a sense of control. As we gradually rediscover own resourcefulness, creativity and autonomy, a great deal of negative symptoms subsides. Previous clients said they had found the sessions beneficial and walked away with renewed hope. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and my counselling service is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. I have a professional indemnity insurance cover and and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.

Sessions are available in-person on Sunday afternoons in Beaconsfield, HP9 and online or on the phone on weekday evenings anywhere in the UK. Reach out! I would be delighted to support you.
