Type of service: Diagnostic services

We provide assessments of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) for adults and young people, often as independent expert in relation to the criminal justice system. We use standardised diagnostic tools e.g. Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO), Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule Second Edition (ADOS-2). The service is a member of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society (BPS). We provide independent expert reports. We also cater for offending behaviour. We have received ASD training and had experience of working with people who have ASD. Our fees for criminal justice work are charged at legal aid rates, usually £93.60 per hour for adult assessments plus travel.
