We provide expert witness assessments of autism for adults in the forensic / criminal court, family court, or parole context. We accept referrals from solicitors, prisons, local authorities or other organisations and unfortunately cannot accept self or family referral as we only complete independent expert assessments. We use standardised diagnostic tools e.g. Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO), Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule Second Edition (ADOS-2). Our psychologists and speech and language therapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We provide high quality independent expert reports and have done so for years. We have received specialist autism training and have lots of experience of working with people who have autism. Our fees for criminal justice work are charged at legal aid rates. Our team members travel throughout England and Wales to complete assessments.
