Voyage Care provide a range of care and support solutions for people with a variety of specialist needs, including autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, neurological impairments and mental health needs. They have over 250 services in England, Scotland and Wales and can also provide support to individuals in their own home.

Voyage welcomes enquiries by individuals and their families or advocates as well as from social services. Following your initial enquiry you will be allocated a local individual who will work with you to find out how Voyage can support you. Their residential services are tailored to the needs of each individual. Each person will have their own personalised care plan.

Voyage have their own behavioural specialists who support the staff team to develop and implement these plans, as needed. Staff also receive specialist training in autism. The homes are designed to provide a low stimulus environment with plenty of space. Many are in quieter locations with large gardens and open space. Staff work with individuals to support them to access activities of their choice in the local area and have a track record of helping people to become more confident outside of the home. This can include opportunities for education and work, if they wish. Staff use TEACCH to give structure to each day. This can be in pictorial or written formats depending on individual preference.

Voyage use a range of communication techniques tailored to each person's needs. Voyage can also offer individual support packages to people who live with family or in their own home. People choose to use this support in a variety of ways, including shopping, going to college, looking after their home and taking part in sports and other activities, and Voyage are happy to support people in the way that best meets their needs and wishes.
