Type of service: Befriending/mentoring

Providing one-to-one or small group mentoring support and advice for autistic young people and their families. Empowering autistic young people to have their voices heard, to become self-advocates and use their own strengths to reach their aspirations and become fulfilled, independent young adults. I support autistic young people to ‘be their best selves‘ and help them break down barriers obstructing their success.
Services are catered to young people on the Autism spectrum and autistic people with challenging behaviour or moderate learning disabilities or Mental health problems. Also includes individuals who do not have a diagnosis and identify with social communication differences. These services will be delivered in the mentees' homes. Students are accepted across south east London and west Kent.

Age: From age 10 to 25

Aimed at: Adolescent , Young person

Registrations and professional qualifications: Post Graduate Certificate with Distinction in Autism & Asperger’s Syndrome, First-Class B.A. (Hons) Childhood and Youth Studies
