Charli Clement

Charli Clement (they/them) is an award-winning writer, speaker and creator discussing their experiences of disability, neurodivergence and queerness, focusing on how these topics intertwine. They deliver training and talks with clients including Activision Blizzard, Young Minds, VISA and Scope, and recently guest curated as a Young Changemaker at Cheltenham Science Festival. They have bylines in outlets including Metro, Independent, Digital Spy and The i. After receiving their autism diagnosis during a traumatic admission to a psychiatric unit as a teenager, Charli also works in the NHS and third sector organisations on improving care and human rights for autistic people. Last year, they were named on the MHP 30 To Watch: Politics list as a Health Champion. Their first book, All tangled up in autism and chronic illness, a guide to life as an autistic and chronically ill person, was published in December 2023.
