Helen Edgar
Helen is late-identified autistic and a parent to two neurodivergent children. She is a former Early Years/Primary teacher and worked for 20 years in SEND Early Years/Primary settings near Birmingham (specialising in supporting those with multiple learning disabilities). Helen regularly delivers neurodiversity-affirming educational training and workshops for families and for those supporting young people who may be experiencing barriers to education and autistic burnout. Her special interest lies in the neurodiversity-affirming theory of monotropism and burnout.
