Joanne Neill
Joanne has over 35 years’ experience working with autistic people and their families and is a highly skilled clinician. She holds the position of Principal Speech and Language Therapist and is the Clinical Lead for speech and language therapy across the National Autistic Society, working strategically to ensure high-quality outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Joanne is experienced in working within a transdisciplinary team, has been called as an expert witness in educational tribunals, leads on the referrals and admissions process and is the author of several published articles on best autism practice. She has also contributed to autism-specific research projects.
Joanne has lectured nationwide and forged many links with universities offering postgraduate training and CPD to other professionals in the field. She is a longstanding member of Autism Accreditation and a licensed National Autistic Society trainer.
