2024 interview with Tom Purser, outgoing Head of Guidance, Volunteering and Campaigns at the National Autistic Society and soon to be CEO of the Autism Centre of Excellence, discussing the evolution of the society, government policy and public perceptions of autism in recent decades. Purser also discusses experiences of parenthood and early contact with the National Autistic Society following his son’s autism diagnosis in 2004 including being involved in the EarlyBird programme.
