Panini's Premier League Adrenalyn XL Trading Card Game Earns Autism Approval award

In a significant milestone, Panini's Premier League Adrenalyn XL trading card game has officially received Autism Approval award. The achievement comes after rigorous testing under various criteria’s, with positive feedback from autistic testers, their families, and caregivers.
The feedback revealed that 100% of respondents stated they would recommend the cards, while 75% of autistic participants reported satisfaction with the product. The testing process aimed to understand the elements of the trading card game that worked well for autistic individuals and identify areas for potential improvement.
Katie Gritt, head of Marketing for Sport at Panini, expressed the company's commitment to inclusivity, saying, "We receive regular feedback from autistic individuals and parents with autistic children, praising how enjoyable our Premier League Adrenalyn XL trading card game is for autistic people. Partnering with the National Autistic Society and undergoing their stringent testing process was a logical step for us."
She stated that the company is delighted that the collection passed the testing process with flying colours. Panini looks forward to collaborating with football clubs to support initiatives aimed at creating specific sensory areas for autistic fans and their families. The partnership will also extend to working with retailers to support their retail-specific initiatives in support of the autistic community.
Christine Flintoft-Smith, head of Autism Accreditation, commended Panini for seeking the views and feedback of autistic individuals and achieving such positive results. She highlighted that the overall experience of the collector and trading cards among their testers was of high satisfaction, leading the charity to grant Autism Approval for their use. She also expressed the hope that this approval would provide further assurance for other products catering to autistic individuals in the future.
This achievement reflects Panini's dedication to creating inclusive and enjoyable experiences for all fans, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between brands and organisations to support diverse communities.
