Adult Mentoring Glasgow
Mentoring for autistic adults
This programme is aimed at autistic adults aged 25+ and living in the Glasgow City Council area.
Participants will be encouraged to identify goals and will be matched with a volunteer mentor; they will work together towards achieving these over an agreed period of time. Goals are personal to the individual and might relate to social or leisure activities, employment or whatever the individual wishes to work on.
Each mentorship takes place over nine months, with a group celebration event after participants have completed their sessions.
In addition, participants and mentors are offered access to online social activities throughout their time on the programme.
This programme cannot provide a 1:1 support service, advocacy or counselling.
