In work support
In Scotland, our experienced team can provide support to autistic employees and their employers. Over the last 25 years, we have been helping autistic people to:
- Prepare for job interviews.
- Discuss reasonable adjustments.
- Integrate into new work environments.
- Raise autism awareness within the workplace.
- Manage challenges arising within employment.
- Adapt to changing roles and responsibilities.
Our support is subject to funding from Access to Work - a publicly funded employment support programme that aims to help more disabled people start or stay in work.
To find out more about our offer, or if there is anything else you would like to discuss, please get in touch with us at inworksupport@nas.org.uk
“I’ve been accessing in-work support from the National Autistic Society Scotland throughout my employment. They helped me to integrate into my working environment, recommended workplace adjustments and improved my employers understanding of autism. This service has been invaluable in helping me sustain my employment, and it is so reassuring to know that I can access support whenever I need it.”
All requests for support are considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to funding and capacity.
