Navigate Neurodiversity Occupational Therapy

Main information

Navigate Neurodiversity Occupational Therapy delivers one-to-one, personalised Occupational Therapy for diagnosed and self-diagnosed/self-identified neurodivergent adults across the UK. Therapy services are exclusively offered online via video call.

Hello I'm, Alex, a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist who is passionate about using my occupational therapy knowledge, coupled with my lived experience of being neurodivergent, to help other adults work towards their goals and live happier lives. Navigate Neurodiversity Occupational Therapy utilises a neurodiversity-affirming approach. This means that I believe in a strength-based approach and provide support to affirm your neurodivergent identity rather than believing that you need to be 'fixed'.

I can also provide support and guidance for families, caregivers, educators and workplaces to help you understand the needs of your loved one, student or employee.I provide you with the tools and resources to help them succeed. Examples of areas in which I can support you: -Fatigue and sleep -Understanding and processing your diagnosis/self-diagnosis -Work & university accommodations and reasonable adjustment advice -Organisation, time management etc. -Consulting for family and friends -Consulting for employers & universities -Guided self-assessments to help you understand yourself (I do not diagnose) -Emotions, burnout and meltdowns -Understanding and supporting your sensory needs ...and more
