122 Scorer Street

Lincoln

Main information

Type of service: Day services, Residential services, Respite and short breaks

122 Scorer Street provides holistic residential and day care for adults with a high functioning autistic spectrum disorder, whilst training and preparing those adults to live a more independent lifestyle within the community. This is achieved by enabling the person within and as a fully integrated part of a family household. That person will be assisted to accept the customary responsibilities commensurate with the privileges of that more independent lifestyle. Volunteers are accepted to work with service users. 122 Scorer Street has two volunteer befrienders. Although referral by Social Services is the customary route, self referrals will be favourably considered. Referrals will be seen at least twice by different people and an invitation given to visit 122 Scorer Street to meet the staff and service users and to feel the friendly atmosphere. The views of service users already in the service will always be considered.
