3 Counties Counselling and Autism Assessment specialises in autism assessment of children aged 3-adult. We also offer post diagnostic autism spectrum disorder (ASD) counselling. Part of our service includes mental health counselling for both children and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, school and work place stress. We offer consultation to businesses in need of further understanding of how to support their employees diagnosed with ASD. Our counselling approach is brief therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, person centred and solution focused. We offer Skype as part of our Mode of Counselling.

Assessment procedure: Referral to service; developmental history; past and current school reports; Parents and/or young person fills out Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ); school observation; if signs of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) then assess using Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI), Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS); Cognitive Assessment and Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) assessment if indicated.

Follow up service: No.
